Overview
We have recently implemented an automated card replacement system that will mean you will receive a brand new card, when your old one has expired. As part of this process you, the balance of your old card will be transferred to your new one without having to go through your admin to top up the new card.
Timeline of replacement:
- T-60 days: Account admin will receive a notification of cards due to expire
- They have the opportunity to cancel replacement cards that aren’t required
- They can also amend delivery address for the replacements
- T-45 days: Replacement cards are ordered and shipped to cardholders:
- The cardholder receives an email to confirm receipt of their new Yordex card.
- They can elect to transfer their balance from the old card to the new card with the click of a button. Once clicked, the balance transfer is immediate.
- The old card can now be thrown away or destroyed
- T-0 days: Old card expires and cannot be used for transactions
