This article outlines what we sync with Xero and when.
There are three ways you can sync your transactions with Xero:
- All transactions at once
- A select set of transactions
- An individual transaction
Note that Yordex only syncs expenses that are APPROVED or COMPLETED with Xero.
For purchases we sync payments that are APPROVED or COMPLETED and have the status PAYMENT DUE, PAYMENT OVERDUE or WAITING FOR INVOICE.
Syncing all transactions at once
In the Yordex interface
- Go to ["Settings" > "Services"]
- If not already done, first connect Yordex with Xero. See this article for more details
- Click "sync now"
Once done, you will receive an email with an overview of all transactions that were synced with Xero.
Syncing a select set of transactions
In the Yordex interface
- If not already done, first connect Yordex with Xero. See this article for more details
- When connected, go to ["Tasks" > "Accounting"]
- Mark the checkboxes of the purchases and/or expenses you'd like to sync and click "Sync selected with Xero"
Once done, you will receive an email with an overview of the transaction that was synced with Xero.
Syncing an individual transaction
In the Yordex interface
- Open the expense or purchase you'd like to sync
- Click "More" > "Sync with Xero".
- You will receive a confirmation message and an email with the sync details.
- Alternatively, you can go ["Tasks" > "Accounting"] and click the "Sync with Xero" button next to the expense/purchase you'd like to sync
Once done, you will receive an email with an overview of the transaction that was synced with Xero.
