When you sign up with Yordex, a unique Yordex Cards bank account will be set up in Xero for you. This bank account will be used to:
- 1. Transfer funds onto the Yordex prepaid cards
- 2. Sync all transactions made on Yordex cards with Xero
To confirm the Yordex Cards bank account has been set up in Xero for you:
- In the Yordex interface, go to ['Settings'] and click on ['Services']
- Verify that the 'Yordex Cards bank account' is listed as the Xero Bank Account for Yordex Card transactions
Transfer funds onto the Yordex cards
Yordex offers prepaid Mastercards. To top up these cards, you'll have to transfer funds to the Yordex Cards bank account as explained in this article. These funds in turn can then be used to top up the individual cards, following the steps in this article.
We do not sync the fund transfers to the Yordex Cards account with Xero. This means that when you transfer funds from your existing bank account to the Yordex Cards account, you have to book that transfer yourself in Xero following these steps.
Syncing Yordex Cards transactions with the Yordex Cards bank account
All transactions made on Yordex cards (physical and virtual) will be synced as 'Bills' against the Yordex Cards bank account whereas non-Yordex card transactions will be synced with Xero as 'Bills to Pay'. In addition to transactions, Yordex also syncs contacts and tax types with Xero.
